GENERAL POST OFFICE, LONDON,

Dear Mr.

Johnson,

We sent you with our official note of the 10th July (148166) a copy of a telegram from Hong Kong in which it was stated that "V.P.F" was the call signal of the Cape D'Aguilar Wireless Station.

It appears, however, from the enclosure to the Colonial Office letter of the 14th April 1913 (No.6814/1913) that the call signal "V.P.F" was allotted to Taviuni and that the call signal "V.P.S" was to be allotted to the projected station at Hong Kong.

I should be much obliged if you could let me know whether the call signal "V.P.S" was actually allotted to Hong Kong.

It is possible that the letter "F" has been

substituted

J
